Essential Palo Santo oil from Bursera graveolens originates from beautiful Peru and is extracted via steam distillation directly from the ancient wood. Palo Santo belongs to the same botanical family as frankincense (Burseraceae) and is primarily found in the wild South American forests.

Palo Santo literally means "holy wood" and carries a deeply rooted history stretching back several centuries to the indigenous peoples of South America.
