Fragrance oil - Jasmine absolute 10ml

Sweet and exotic jasmine with a rich floral scent

Jasmine is a delicate, evergreen climbing plant native to China and India, with small white star-shaped flowers that are picked at night when the scent is strongest. Jasmine essential oil has a sweet, exotic, and richly floral scent. It is expensive because the distillation is more extensive than for most oils.

Jasmine oil is associated with deep relaxation and is said to contribute to increased self-confidence and a sense of well-being.

The oil is said to be able to calm the nerves and contribute to a sense of optimism and restored energy.

Jasmine has been considered a sacred flower in India for hundreds of years and is still tied into garlands for Hindu gods and goddesses to this day. Indian women often wear jasmine in their hair, and the flower is also one of the most important flowers in wedding garlands. According to a myth, the sun god Surya rejected a princess's love, leaving her so devastated that she took her own life. A jasmine plant grew from the ashes that were scattered on the ground. Because the sun god had caused her so much pain, the jasmine flower began to bloom and release its perfume only at night.
